    1. Our Customers are the most important people ever in the office, either in person or otherwise.
    2. Our Customers are not dependant on us. We are dependent on them
    3. Our Customers are not an interruption of our work; they are the purpose of it.
    4. We are not doing them a favour by serving them, they are doing us a favour by giving us an opportunity to do so.
    5. Our Customers are not an outsider to our business; they are part of it. Our Customers are not cold statistics or numbers “names on file cards or ledger sheets".
    6. They are flesh and blood human beings with biases, prejudices, feelings and emotions like our own.    
    7. Our Customers are not someone to argue with. Nobody ever won an argument with a customer.
    8. Our Customers are people who bring us their wants. It is our job to fill them profitably to them and to ourselves.
